Dr. Mehak Akhter completed her undergraduate education in Biology at Stony Brook University. She received her medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. Dr. Akhter has extensive volunteer experience in healthcare and recently conducted research at Saba University School of Medicine on the long term outcomes of bariatric surgery in adults. In her spare time Dr. Akhter enjoys reading, baking, yoga, traveling and is currently learning how to speak Spanish.

Dr. Jenniffer Bulovic attended Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts where she earned her M.P.H. in Epidemiology. She went on to complete her medical education at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) School of Medicine, Santo Domingo where she graduated with top honors, Summa Cum Laude, and received her medical degree. Dr. Bulovic was a clinical research fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA and currently is performing research at MIT focused on gene therapy. She also has a background in entrepreneurship and biotechnology. In her free time she enjoys snorkeling, biking, hiking and camping

Dr. Adam Grunseich completed his undergraduate education and earned his B.S. in chemistry at Stony Brook University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic medicine degree at the New York Institute of Technology. He has extensive research and volunteer experience at various hospitals throughout New York. In his spare time Dr. Grunseich enjoys snowboarding, skateboarding, baseball and basketball. He also plays the trumpet and loves jazz music.

Dr. William Leach completed his undergraduate education at the University of New Haven, CT where he received his B.S.E in Chemical Engineering. He received his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in Saint Maarten. Dr. Leach held a research position at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY where he helped to implement and analyze patient safety procedures. In his free time he enjoys running, car restoration (British cars!) and cooking.

Dr. Blas Martinez attended medical school at the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas Sancti Spiritus in Cuba where he received his medical degree. He has extensive work experience as a general physician in Venezuela and Cuba as well as working as an Emergency Medicine physician in Brazil. Dr. Martinez speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish, he likes to watch and practice soccer and he also likes to travel to new places.

Dr. Kirat Randhawa graduated from the Medical University of Lublin in Poland where she received her medical degree and a High Achievement Award which is only awarded to the top 2 students of the graduating class. She also served as her class president while in medical school. Kirat has extensive volunteer and community service experience. Dr. Randhawa is proficient in speaking Hindi, Punjabi and Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting scarves, sewing, swimming, hiking, baking, dancing, singing and she also teaches Bhangra and Giddha dancing

Dr. Jaswinder Rathour completed her undergraduate education at Stony Brook University, NY where she received her B.S. in Biology. She attended St. George’s University in Grenada where she earned her M.P.H and medical degree. Dr. Rathour has been very active with community service, and has volunteered her time at soup kitchens and with Women’s Health Organizations. In her free time Dr. Rathour enjoys cooking Indian and Asian food, and learning how to play new instruments.

Dr. Alexander Rodrigues completed his undergraduate education at New York Institute of Technology where he received his B.S. in Life Sciences. He then went on to earn his M.H.A in Healthcare Administration from Walden University and his medical education at American University of Antigua College of Medicine. He has extensive research experience, most recently at Northwell Health overseeing Cystic Fibrosis Research. In his spare time he likes to participate in sports, automotive repair, home repair, photography, cooking and visiting museums.

Dr. Rania Salam attended Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt where she received her M.B, B.S degrees. She has extensive work and volunteer experience in the United States and Egypt. In addition to English, Dr. Salam is fluent in many languages including Arabic, French, Italian, Spanish and Turkish. In her spare time she enjoys reading and learning new languages, traveling, playing the piano and rugby. She was a member of the Alexandria Women’s Rugby Team during medical school.

She also graduated from Urbana University in Ohio where she earned her M.B.A. in Healthcare Administration. She attended American University of Antigua College of Medicine where she received her medical degree. She has considerable volunteer and work experience as a medical student. Dr. Yusupova speaks Hebrew, Russian and Spanish. In her free time, she likes soccer, jogging, traveling and playing piano.
